Pack&Store Summer Storage is a service that helps students store their dorm contents and personal belongings during the Summer break when they are not living on campus. We provide packing supplies, pick up your order from your Spring dorm, and then return it to your Fall dorm when you return for the semester.
Pack&Store works best for freshmen, since their Fall housing is guaranteed. However, Pack&Store will return to your campus the week dorms open for the Fall semester. If you find out over the Summer that you did NOT receive on-campus housing, we can deliver your items to campus, but you must arrange pick up directly with our moving partner The Right Move Solutions.

Yes! Pack&Store charges ONE fee for a Packing Supply Kit, Order PickUp from your Spring dorm, summer storage for your order, and delivery to your Fall dorm.

No. For insurance purposes, customers must purchase and use the provided supply kit to pack their order.
Please use the supplies and Packing Instructions provided by Pack&Store to ensure your items are securely packed to prevent damage.
If after you purchase your package, you discover you need to add boxes or additional items to your order, no problem! Just visit the Add-On Item section of the Summer Storage Packages page to add boxes to your order within 24 hours of your delivery date, but you can add "unboxed" items the day of Order PickUp. Just ensure to they are identified with Pack&Store QR Codes and Name Labels.
If your order is not packed and ready for pick-up at the agreed upon time, you will be charged a $50 Late/Rescheduling Fee.
Your items will be stored at a DC-area commercial storage facility. After your items are delivered and secured, you will receive an email with the address of exact facility. Rest assured - all facilities are equipped with:

This coverage often includes protection against incidents such as fire, theft, and water damage — up to a limited dollar amount (which varies by facility). You will receive specific information about the facility where your items are stored.
⚠️ Important: While this basic insurance provides some peace of mind, it may not fully cover the value of your belongings. For this reason, we strongly recommend that you consider purchasing additional insurance for enhanced protection.

We will deliver your items when dorms open for the Fall semester. When move-in schedules are available you will receive an email from Pack&Store with further instructions. Monitor your email (check your spam folder) and contact makia@packandstoresummerstorage.com with any questions or concerns.
Currently, Pack&Store will return to your campus the week Fall dorms open for the Fall semester. If you need your order in advance of that date, you will be charged a $175 Convenience Fee and must arrange pick-up directly with our moving partner.

No. Pack&Store will only return items to the school where the items were originally retrieved. If your Fall housing location changes, you will be responsible for transporting your order from campus. Contact our moving partner The Right Move Solutions for pricing.
