After you purchase your Summer Storage Package, the next step is to pickup your packing supplies on campus. Pack&Store brings the supplies to you!

To ensure your items are safely stored and returned to you in great condition, it is important io pack them properly. Follow these Packing Instructions to ensure you securely pack your order.

You are all packed and ready to go! A Pack&Store Rep will arrive at your Spring dorm on the scheduled day and time to retrieve your order and keep it safe for the summer.

Welcome back! Pack&Store is ready to Drop-Off your order at your Fall dorm. Make sure you have responded to emails from Pack&Store over the summer to ensure an easy Drop-Off Process!

What to Expect During Packing Supply Pickup

What happens during Packing Supply Pickup?

After you purchase your package, schedule your Packing Supply PickUp Appointment. Pack&Store will distribute Packing Supply Kits in accordance with our Schedules page. 


Be on the lookout for Pack&Store Reps and Student Ambassadors in black tshirts with our logo on the front. It is important to pick up your Packing Supply Kit ASAP to allow for time to purchase additional supplies.


Registration Process:

  • When you arrive at the designated location, find a Pack&Store Rep wearing a black tshirt with our logo
  • Confirm your Order #
  • Completed Pack&Store Client Information (link in Confirmation Email)
  • You will receive a Packing Supply Kit and boxes
  • Your Rep will affix QR Codes to each box and register them in our inventory management system
  • Now you are ready to Pack&Store!

What do I need to bring with me?

Bring the following items with you to Packing Supply Pickup:

  • Order Number/Confirmation Email
  • Valid Photo ID (you must be 18, per Pack&Store Terms & Conditions)
  • Completed Pack&Store Client Information (link in Confirmation Email) 
  • Cell Phone 


Remember: You will need to transport you boxes and supplies to your room so dress accordingly.

What items will I receive?

Your Packing Supply Kit will include:

  • Packing Tape
  • Scissors
  • Packing Peanuts
  • Bubble Wrap
  • Black Marker


You will also receive:

  • Boxes with Pack&Store QR Code Labels
  • Blank Name Labels
  • QR Codes (for Additional Items)

What if I need more packing supplies or to add items to my order?

We understand it can be difficult to gauge how many boxes you need, so we make it easy to add items to your order using the links on the Add-On Items. You can pick up additional supplies and boxes at a Supply Pickup later in the week. To ensure you are ready for your Order Pickup, it is important to pickup your Packing Supply Kit as early in the week as possible to allow for time to purchase additional supplies.

What is the best way to pack my order?

We know packing can be a stressful experience, and these Packing Instructions will guide you through the process. Remember, per the Terms & Conditions, it is your responsibility to pack your items securely, so please take this part of the process seriously. 

When should I begin packing?

Begin packing ASAP to ensure you are ready for your Order Pickup. This will allow time to purchase additional supplies and to add items to your order. Pack&Store will distribute Packing Supply Kits as listed on the Schedules page. Start packing as soon as possible!

What if I need more packing supplies or to add items to my original order?

We understand it can be difficult to gauge how many boxes you need, so we make it easy to add items to your order using the links on the Add-On Items below. You can pick up additional supplies and boxes at the next Supply PickUp. To ensure you are ready for your Order Pickup, it is important to pick up your Packing Supply Kit ASAP to allow for time to purchase additional supplies.

What to Expect During Order Pickup

What happens on the day my Order Pickup is scheduled?

You will receive an email confirming the day/time of your Order PickUp. Please check the Schedules page to see what days Pack&Store will be on your campus.


Ensure your order is ready for hand off and packed in accordance with Pack&Store Packing Instructions. You must complete the Client Inventory Form (additional details included in the Pack&Store Packing Instructions) three hours prior to your Order PickUp, which includes uploaded picture of your taped and labeled boxes, Additional, and Add-On Items. This will ensure a smooth Order PickUp Day. If your order is not ready and causes a schedule delay that impacts operations, you will be responsible for a $50 Late/Rescheduling Fee.


Due to campus regulations, Pack&Store representatives are unable to physically enter your dorm, but our Rep can meet you at the door with a dolly to use to bring down your items. Allow enough time to: 

  1. Secure a bin to assist with transporting your items 
  2. Make multiple trips downstairs (the average customer makes 2 trips) 


It is your responsibility to bring your sealed, and secure boxes packed, and all additional items labeled with the provided QR codes, to an area where they can be securely and safely received by the time established by Pack&Store.

What do I need when it is time for my Order PickUp?

Have the following items readily available when you come to the door of your dorm when it is time for your Order Pickup:

  • Valid Photo ID (you must be 18, per Pack&Store Terms & Conditions)
  • Completed Client Inventory Form
  • Order Number/Confirmation Email
  • Cell Phone

How will I know the Pack&Store Rep has arrived to pick up my order?

The Pack&Store Rep will call you on the phone number associated with your account. Please ensure your phone is charged, able to receive calls, and with you at all times during your time/pickup window. 

What if I am not ready when Pack&Store arrives to pickup my order?

Customer must present packed, sealed, and secure boxes in accordance with the Packing Instructions and ensure each box and item is labeled with the provided Name Labels and QR codes at the agreed upon pickup time/scheduled service window. If your order is not ready and causes a schedule delay that impacts operations, you will be responsible for a $50 Late/Rescheduling Fee.

What will happen during Order Hand-Off?

Once you are able to securely and safely bring your order outside of the building, you and the Pack&Store Rep will:

  • Confirm your ID matches the Order Name
  • Confirm the information in your Client Inventory Form 
  • Name labels on all four sides of each box and on each additional item
  • Ensure every item has a Name Label and QR Code and is packed securely
  • Scan each QR Code to ensure it is associated with your account
  • Photograph each item associated with each QR Code


Once each item is scanned, your order is ready to be receive by Pack&Store. You are welcome to stay with your order until it is loaded onto our truck, but once it is scanned you are free to go!

What happens after Order Hand-Off?

Within two weeks of Order Hand-Off, Customer will receive an Order Hand-Off email with an order summary, the name and location of the facility where your order is stored, and specific insurance information associated with the storage facility. During your Summer break, keep an eye out for emails from Pack&Store to coordinate timely Order Drop-Off to your Fall dorm.

What to Expect During Order Drop-Off

How will I know when my order will be delivered to my Fall dorm?

During the Summer, you will receive an email with the date(s) Pack&Store will be on campus. Please align your travel with these dates, as additional Drop-Off dates will require a $175 Convenience Fee and must be arranged directly with our moving partner The Right Move Solutions, as detailed on the Pack&Store FAQs page. It is your responsibility to respond to all Pack&Store correspondence in a timely manner to ensure timely delivery and avoid penalties. 

What should I bring to Order Drop-Off?

Bring the following items with you to Order Drop-Off:

  • Order Number/Confirmation Email
  • Photo ID

How will I know the Pack&Store Rep has arrived to drop-off my order?

The Pack&Store Rep will call you on the phone number associated with your account. Please ensure your phone is charged, able to receive calls, and with you at all times during your time/pickup window. 

What will happen during Order Drop-Off?

Due to campus regulations, Pack&Store representatives are unable to physically enter your dorm, but can meet our rep at the door, and provide a dolly to use to take your items upstairs.


Before your items are released to you, you and your Pack&Store Rep will:

  • Confirm the total number of items in your order 
  • Confirm your name matches the stickers on each box and item

What if I am not ready when Pack&Store arrives to drop off my order?

If you are not available at the time of your scheduled Order Drop-Off, causing schedule delay that impacts operations, you will be responsible for a  $50 Late/Rescheduling Fee. If we are unable to reschedule within the Drop-Off week listed for your school on the Schedules page, you will incur an additional $175 Convenience Fee and must be arranged directly with our moving partner The Right Move Solutions, as detailed on the Pack&Store FAQs page.

What happens after Close-Out?

Within two weeks of Drop-Off, Customer will receive an Order Close-Out email with a summary of services provided, and declaring the end of the business relationship.
